Will there be a physical 2020 Show?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not able to hold a live, physical show in 2020. 

Is there a cost to view the virtual show?

Admission is free to view the 2020 virtual show. However, as a not-for-profit organization, especially in this challening year, we would appreciate your consideration for donating the cost of a show ticket ($15 for adults, $10 for seniors). Thank you.

Does the virtual show have a gift shop?

Unfortunately, it was not possible to incorporate a gift shop into the 2020 virtual show.

Is there a Youth Art Show in 2020?

Yes, there is! The show includes wonderful works of emerging local youth artists in our virtual Youth Art Gallery.

Can I vote for my favourite piece?

Yes! You will see a voting tab when you click on the details for each piece.

Will there be awards for outstanding pieces?

Yes. It is important to us to recognize outstanding artists. Awards will be announced  at our virtual Artist Celebration event on Saturday, July 25 at 2pm.

Will there be an Auction or Raffle?
There will not be a raffle this year but please do check out our online auction page and bid on your favourite items!
What about the various features of the show?

We have re-imagined many of the features of the live show to work in a virtual format. The Purchasers’ Preview Event, Artist Celebration, Artz4Kidz activities, Artist Demos and Talks and an Auction are all part of the new virtual experience. 

How will art shipping be managed?

We have worked out several different ways to connect purchasers with their new art pieces. Some artists have agreed to local pick up and delivery from their studios, we have arranged with several galleries to act as pick up and delivery hubs, and we have a designated courier company to provide shipping further afield. The delivery of each piece will be coordinated after purchase.

What happens if I don't like my piece? Can I return it?

Purchasers may request a refund by contacting SFAS within three weeks of the purchase. The purchase price of the artwork only will be refunded upon confirmation that the piece has been returned to the artists in good condition. All costs associated with the return of the artwork will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
