Will there be a gift shop?

Due to inventory, storage, and shipping issues, we have unfortunately not been able to find a way within our framework to make a gallery gift shop work online. We wish we could! We miss it too 🙂 
We will be investigating other ways to help promote artists, so please stay tuned.

Can I vote for my favourite piece?

Yes! You will see a voting tab when you click on the details for each piece.

Will there be awards for outstanding pieces?
Yes. It is important to us to recognize outstanding artists. Awards will be announced  at our virtual Artist Celebration event on Saturday, July 24, 2021.
Will there be an Auction?

There will be an auction in 2021. Please do check out our online auction page in July and bid on your favourite items!

How can I purchase a piece of art?

You will be able to purchase using a credit card through our secure, SSL certified website, or by credit card over the phone to the SFAS office (250-642-7256).

Can I preview a piece of art in advance of purchasing?

Possibly! It depends on the piece and the artist, as all artworks in the virtual show are still in possession of the artist.  Some artists have let us know that they are able to accommodate art previewing. Please let us know what piece you are interested in and we will let you know if it will be possible. You can email us, chat us via the icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen, or call the SFAS office (250-642-7256).

Can I purchase a gift certificate for artworks?

Absolutely! Please email the SFAS office to arrange: [email protected]

Is there tax on artworks?

PST and GST will be added to purchases in BC. Purchases made in Canada outside of BC are subject to standard tax rates. No GST or PST is applied if the artwork is being shipped out-of-country.

How will art shipping be managed?

There are several different ways to connect purchasers with their new art pieces. Some artists can deliver, or accept pickups from their studios. There are also pick up and delivery hubs, and a designated courier company can provide shipping further afield. The delivery of each piece will be coordinated after purchase.

When will I get my purchased piece?
The exact date will depend on the arrangements made with an SFAS representative after purchase.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we can arrange to ship internationally via UPS.
Will shipping include insurance?
Can a purchased piece be returned?

Purchasers may request a refund by contacting SFAS within one week of the receipt of the artwork. The purchase price of the artwork only will be refunded upon confirmation that the piece has been returned to the artist in good condition. All costs associated with the return of the artwork will be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Can artworks be put on hold?
Holds of art pieces are accepted during the show but are limited to one hold per person at a time for a length of four hours during show times. Credit card information will be required as a guarantee to hold the art piece. Consecutive holds by the same prospective purchaser are not permitted.
