The 2018 Award Winners

The Sooke Fine Arts Show gathers together the Vancouver Island region’s most talented artists in an exhibition of fine art that spans the visual arts spectrum.

The finest works of painting, sculpture, glass, ceramic, fibre art, photography, jewellery and mixed media are presented to our panel of three jurors, who select outstanding pieces for recognition in each category. Eight major Awards of Excellence are presented for exceptional works in any medium. Also presented are three Juror’s Choice awards; the Jan Johnson Memorial Award for Best Social Commentary; the District of Sooke Award; Designer’s Choice Award; People’s Choice Award; People’s Choice (Youth) Award; Children’s Choice Award; and five Honourable Mentions.
