How You Can Help:

Volunteers are an integral part of Sooke Fine Arts. Through their dedication and commitment, volunteers have made this event a huge success. Whether you have just a bit of time or want to be involved on a regular basis, there are a number of ways you can help.
We welcome individuals who are looking for a volunteer experience or a group of people who want to work on a project together. We require volunteers with different levels of experience to work with us on a variety of projects. From participating as an office volunteer, being part of the construction team, or assisting during the adjudication process or August show, there are many opportunities to contribute your time and talent.

Outlined below are just a few of the volunteer jobs available:

• Office Support – assist in preparing mail distributions for Call to Artists, Artist Information Packages, and Sponsorship Packages
   
• Exhibition Construction – help in the set-up and take down of the exhibition display units and lighting system
   
• Adjudication Support – help in the set-up for adjudication, processing of paperwork, porters for artwork, Juror assistant
   
• Art Show Set-Up – assist in ambience set-up and display of art work
   
• Opening Night – help in the parking lot, entry and admission, and hosting
   
• Show and Sale – assist in ticket sales and admissions, raffle tickets, gift shop and art sales, and security
