Purchasers’ Preview Evening

Be one of the first of 9,000+ guests to lay eyes on hundreds of original works of fine art before the show opens to the public!
The evening includes live music, refreshments, and hors d’oeurvres provided by 4 Beaches B&B Catering. Whether you are a first-time buyer, a seasoned collector, or a passionate art lover, you won’t want to miss this special opportunity to preview the fabulous art and perhaps claim a favourite piece.

Artist Celebration Evening – (Invitation Only)

Artz4Kids

Special Admission! $2 after 2pm for 12+ (Kids under 12 are free)
Looking for a way to entertain the kids this summer? Let us help you by providing an afternoon of fun at Sooke Fine Arts. The afternoon will be filled with crafts, activities, entertainment and prizes especially designed for children under 12 years of age. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Artz4Youth

Special Admission! $2 after 2pm
As part of our Artz4Youth special, admission is just $2 for all ages (children 12 and under are free).
This is a chance to enjoy the next generation of talented young students. Live performances including music, dance, mime and acting begin at 4pm, and food will be available for purchase on-site.
Seniors Teas
July 31 and August 1, 2019

Included with admission for Seniors 65+ / $3 extra for under 65
Enjoying fine art and a fine cup of tea is an ideal way to spend a summer afternoon. Included in the price of admission Seniors 65+ will be able to take advantage of the special offering of a complimentary cup of tea, scone and jam. Wander the gallery and then sit back and enjoy afternoon tea with friends.
Youth Art Gallery

Included with admission – view up to 200 pieces of student art selected from 5 local schools, framed, matted and professionally displayed. We are very proud of our emerging artists and the body of work they have produced!
Artist Demonstrations and Lectures
July 26 – Aug 5, 2019
Included with admission – see artist practice their techniques and hear them speak about their inspirations, processes and journeys. Watch for daily schedules (to be advised on our Events Calendar and through our Facebook page each day).
Music Program

Included with admission – hear a variety of live music performed by musicians on our very own Sooke Fine Arts Show stage. Two performances most days.

Docent Tour – Daily in 2019!

Included with admission – artists and volunteers provide new perspectives on the works on display, focussing on specific artistic mediums or thematic works. Design Team volunteers also offer a behind-the-scenes look at hanging the show, explaining the aesthetic choices, logistical constraints, and relaying juror comments on award-winning pieces.
