What’s Happening?In July 2010 the Sooke Fine Arts Society will bring together many of the most compelling artists on Vancouver Island for a 12 day, professionally adjudicated art show and sale; Sooke Fine Arts 2010. Building upon a successful 24 year history, the organizers of this premier event will showcase over 375 pieces of work selected from approximately 1,200 original submissions. The show will feature a variety of media and will assemble a dynamic mix of work ranging from traditional to contemporary avant-garde.
We Need Your Help!
Over the past 24 years the Fine Arts show has been a tremendous achievement for Sooke in large part due to the dedication of volunteers and the local sponsors and patrons whose generosity made the show possible. To carry on this proud tradition, the Sooke Fine Arts Society is asking for your help. By donating resources – be they a financial contribution, materials and supplies, or volunteer hours you will help to make a positive contribution in promoting Arts and Culture and sustaining Sooke Fine Arts Show as a vibrant and dynamic core of fine visual art shows in the region.
